An each-way stake is split in two: one part backs your horse to win, the other backs it to finish in a paying place. Both parts settle separately once the result is confirmed.

Withdrawn runners are voided at the price you took. If the horse was part of a forecast or trifecta, the pool is recalculated against the remaining declared runners under our published market rules.

A trifecta needs the first three runners in the correct order. We settle the pool against the declared result, and the dividend reaches your balance once the places are confirmed at the track.

In-play prices stay open between races on most meetings, so you can take a position while the card is still running. Prices suspend at the off and reopen once the result is confirmed.
